Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich

The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP) is one of the most traditional institutions for child and adolescent psychiatry and, as a university clinic, is involved both clinically and in research, teaching, further education and training.

Its center in Zurich (Neumünsterallee and Lengg), the Brüschhalde children's ward in Männedorf, the Life crisis intervention center, its day clinics and eight regional outpatient clinics throughout the canton of Zurich offer inpatient, outpatient and outreach child and adolescent psychiatric services.

Researchers use today's most innovative and relevant methods from imaging to biochemical-molecular research, from epidemiology to applied digital strategies and work closely with the clinic to identify and develop the causes and best treatment options for various disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, psychoses or pathological media consumption and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
