Emotional disorders, depression and suicidal tendencies are among the most common mental illnesses in childhood and adolescence. These disorders lead to the most years of life lost of all medical illnesses in this phase of life. Over the past decade, these disorders have increased at an alarming rate worldwide. Our research focuses on investigating the development, prevention and treatment of these disorders and their consequences.
