A new Horizon Europe project is researching the risk factors of harmful internet and media use among young people. The aim is to develop interventions to promote the mental health of young people. Researchers from UZH and the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich are involved in the European study.
The BootStRaP-Project («Boosting Societal Adaptation and Mental Health in a Rapidly Digitalizing, Post-Pandemic Europe»), led by researchers from the University of Hertfordshire and sub-project managed by the University of Zurich, is a new, Europe-wide study that aims to record how young people use the internet. BootStRaP is funded by Horizon Europe, the UK Research and Innovation Program and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
