Anhedonia is a clinical symptom characterised by reduced interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities. It is present in around 70% of all patients with depression.
However, as a transdiagnostic symptom, anhedonia can also occur in many other (psychiatric) illnesses. In this study, we are investigating the reward processing of adolescents and young adults with and without anhedonia. The study is supported by the Fondation Frutiger (post-doctoral fellowship 2024-2026, Amelie Haugg).
