Evidence-based recommendations and personalized approaches are often still insufficiently implemented in the treatment of mental disorders. Medical guidelines have the function of providing knowledge and recommendations in order to be able to optimally diagnose illnesses and provide evidence-based treatment.
Another promising approach to optimizing treatments and at the same time better understanding mechanisms of action is the adaptation of interventions to patient-specific characteristics. The aim of this personalized treatment is to ensure the best possible treatment for each patient, taking into account the individual factors of each person. This care research should be given more attention and more resources, especially for children and adolescents with severe mental health problems in an inpatient setting.
The aim of the project is to implement evidence-based and personalized treatments on an interprofessional basis in inpatient adolescent psychiatry. The review of outcomes is intended to serve quality assurance and to optimize the treatment process in everyday clinical practice. The aim is to implement evidence-based personalized treatment in practice on an interdisciplinary and interprofessional basis.
