Predicting reading ability in early development based on brain data

lesendes Kind

Based on magnetic resonance imaging images of the brain and machine learning approaches we are developing models to categorise children's reading ability.

Our goal is to gain detailed insights into the function of different brain regions and their interactions in the reading process as well as their influence on reading skills. A comprehensive understanding of the reading network and the brain regions involved is essential for the development of new interventions to improve reading skills. This includes, for example, the use of neurofeedback or neurostimulation methods.
